"We Barely See Each Other," Admits Coleen

In an interview, Coleen revealed that she and Wayne, who manages Plymouth Argyle, have been living apart for most of the week. Wayne resides in Salcombe, Devon, near the football club, while Coleen stays in Cheshire with their four sons: Kai, 13, Klay, 10, Kit, seven, and Cass, five.

“Wayne comes back once a week, sometimes twice, depending on the fixtures,” she shared. “Usually, he has Sunday off, so he might come home Saturday evening and spend the day with us. Time together is limited, more so than ever now because of the travelling and stuff.”

Preparing for the Jungle

As she heads to Australia for the ITV reality show, Coleen reflected on how her family managed a rare day together at her 11-year-old’s football tournament before her departure. During her absence, Wayne will remain in Devon, and her mother, Colette, will take over caring for their children.

Despite the challenges, Coleen says Wayne has been supportive of her decision to join the show. “He was the last person I called before my phone was taken away. He just wished me good luck and made sure the kids were off to school okay.”
